This study was aimed at developing a multifunctional composite film based on the immobilization of titanium dioxide (TiO2) on polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB). TiO2 and PHB are both inexpensive and environmentally benign materials that could serve as a simple, efficient and cost-effective system for the decolorization, detoxification and disinfection of wastewaters mainly from the textile industry. |
