High Performance New Materials from Simple Monomer ,Angew Chem Int Ed

The  linear low density polyolefins by the copolymerization of ethylene with α-olefin has the advantages of low density, crystallinity and rigidity compared with ordinary polyolefin. But  it can hardly formed using  rare earth metal catalyst.  Therefore, we try to explore the catalytic system for efficient copolymerization of ethylene with α-olefins. Then we found the fluorenyl functional carbene scandium complexes  catalyzing  this process efficiently.

中國科學(xué)院長春應(yīng)用化學(xué)研究所崔冬梅課題組劉博博士李世輝副研究員使用脒基稀土催化劑首次實(shí)現(xiàn)了生物質(zhì)單體β-月桂烯高全同立構(gòu)、間同立構(gòu)以及無規(guī)立構(gòu)3,4-選擇性聚合,并開發(fā)出了一系列新型生物基彈性體3,4-聚β-月桂烯(Chem. Commun., 2015, 51, 1039;Chinese Journal of Polymer Science 2015, 5, 792)。以β-月桂烯為原料制成的3-亞甲基環(huán)戊烯作為單體,利用自主研發(fā)的稀土催化體系,在常規(guī)聚合條件下,以極高的聚合活性制備出了高分子量、高1,4-立構(gòu)規(guī)整的1,4-聚3-亞甲基環(huán)戊烯,該部分實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果以通訊的形式發(fā)表在德國應(yīng)用化學(xué)(Coordination Polymerization of Renewable3-Methylenecyclopentene with Rare-Earth-Metal Precursors, Bo Liu, Shihui Li, Meiyan Wang and Dongmei Cui, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2017, 56, 4560).
