2011年12月18-21日，由國家自然科學(xué)基金（NSFC）、韓國國家研究基金（NRF），中國科技部、湖北省科技廳、華中科技大學(xué)、延世大學(xué)、海南大學(xué)、海南師范大學(xué)共同支持，由華中科技大學(xué)主辦，NSFC、NRF和海南大學(xué)承辦的第九屆中韓生物材料和納米生物技術(shù)研討會在海南三亞隆重舉行。開幕式上，中方大會主席華中科技大學(xué)大學(xué)的張勝民教授和韓方大會主席In-Seop LEE教授在大會上致辭。清華大學(xué)崔福齋教授和首爾國立大學(xué)的Chong-Su CHO教授在開幕式上致祝詞。
第九屆中韓研討會是我國和韓國生物材料界研究學(xué)者交流的一次盛會。大會報告設(shè)有6個報告主題：
1. Cell-Material Interaction and Regenerative Medicine
2. Biomaterials Surfaces and Interfaces
3. Nanoparticles and Nanomedicine
4. Ca-p Biomaterials and Biomineralization
5. Scaffold and Controlled Release
6. Tissue Repair and Regeneration
本次大會還首次設(shè)立青年科學(xué)家論壇，設(shè)有四個報告主題：
1. Nanoparticles and Nanostructures
2. Novel Biomaterials and Characterization
3. Metallic Biomaterials and Bioceramics
4. Drug Delivery and Cancer Treatment
華中科技大學(xué)生命科學(xué)與技術(shù)學(xué)院楊光教授帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生付麗娜應(yīng)邀參加此次會議。其中楊光教授在大會報告上做題為“Bacterial Cellulose ——A Versatile Nano-medical Functional Materials”的邀請報告，學(xué)生付麗娜在青年科學(xué)家論壇上做了題為“Skin Tissue Repair Materials from Bacterial Cellulose by an Improved Method”的口頭報告。
