Thebicomponentfibersofpolyamide6/lowdensitypolyethylene(PA6/LDPE)werepreparedbymeltspinning.Thegradientstructureoffibrils’sizeanddistributionalongradialdirectioninblendfiberscross-sectionwasobservedbySEM.Thephotosshowedthatthefibrils’diameterinthecentralregionofblendfiberswasbiggerthanthatinthesurfaceregion.Andthefibrils’areasinthecentralregionwerehigherthanthatinthesurfaceregionfromthestatisticsandcalculation.Thegradientdistributionofthefibrils’areas,diameterandnumberalongradialdirectionbecamemoreobviouswiththeincreaseinspinningspeedcomparingthebicomponentfibersofdifferentspinningspeedfrom77to800m/min.Thisindicatesthatspinningspeedisoneoftheimportantfactorsofgradientstructureformedinbicomponentfibers.
