Firstly,Polystyrene(PS)microspheresweresynthesizedbyemulsionpolymerization;secondly,Titaniumdioxide(TiO2)/Polystyrene(PS)compositemicrospheresweresynthesizedbythesol-gelmethod;finally,Ni/Titaniumdioxide(TiO2)/Polystyrene(PS)compositemicrospheresweresynthesizedbythereductionandadsorptionprocess.ThecompositemicrosphereswereexaminedbyusingFourierTransforminfraredspectroscopy(FTIR),Thermogravimetricanalysis(TGA),andTransmissionelectronmicroscope(TEM).TheresultsshowedthatthecompositemicrosphereshadobviouscharacteristicabsorptionpeaksofPolystyrene,theframeworkstructureofTi-O-TiandthestructureofTi-Ni,andthecompositemicrosphereshadacertainthermalstability.TheNi/Titaniumdioxide/Polystyrenecompositemicrosphereshadthestructureofcore-shellwithdoubleshells.
