Professor Shanqiu Liu completed his doctoral studies at the University of Twente in Enschede, Netherlands, before undertaking postdoctoral research at the University of Zurich in Zurich, Switzerland. In 2021, he was selected for the Zhejiang Provincial Overseas High-Level Talents Program (Thousand Talents Plan), the Yunhe Young Scholars Talent Program, and the South Tai Lake Elite Plan.
