Coloredacrylicfiberspreparedbypre-dyeingprocesshasbetterdyeingeffectandcolorfastnessthanwhichpreparedbythetraditionaldyeingprocess.Thepre-dyeingprocessforacrylicfibersismoreenvironmentalfriendlyandenergysaving.However,howtoblendacrylicstaplestogetthetargetcoloredacrylicyarnsisabigproblem.Inthisarticle,acolor-matchingmethodofcoloredacrylicfiberisproposed.ColorimetricparametersofthefivebasiccoloredacrylicyarnsbydifferentratiosweremeasuredunderD65illuminant.Basedontwo-constantKubelka-Munktheory,usingleastsquaremethodtocalculateabsorptioncoefficient(K)andscatteringcoefficient(S)ofthesebasiccoloredyarns,whicharethebasedataofcolor-matching.ThencomparedthemeasuredK/Svalueswiththecalculated,themaximumcolordifferencebetweentheoriginalsamplesandthecalculatedis1.82CIELabunits(100standardobserver).Itisdemonstratedthatthemethodcanbeusedincolormatchingofcoloredacrylic.
