InthispaperthePTFEfilmyarnwasproducedfromPTFEsplitfilmbyringspinningmethod.Variousspinningparameterssuchasrollergauge,spindlespeed,twistfactor,draftratioandfilmwidthwereoptimizedonringspinningframe.Themicrostructure,physicalandmechanicalproperties,thermalperformanceofPTFEfilmyarnweretestedbySEM,YG061tensiletester,TGandDSC.UndertheSEMthelongitudinalviewofPTFEfilmyarnshowsquiteregularcylinderandthecrosssectionispolygon.ThePTFEfilmyarnstillkepthighmechanicalperformanceafterbeingtreatedat260℃for8h.ThePTFEfilmyarnhassuperiorthermal-resistantperformance.Duringtheheatingtreatment,theweightlossoccursat500℃-607.75℃andreachesthemaximumat577.8℃.AndtheglasstransitiontemperatureofPTFEfilmyarnis120.92℃.
