Aftertheregeneratedcellulosefiberspreparedwith1-Butyl-3-methylimidazoliumchloride([BMIM]Cl)assolventwastreatedwithwettinganddrying,themicro-morphologyandmechanicalpropertieswereinvestigated.FromtheresultofwideangleX-raydiffraction(WAXD)andsmallangleX-rayscattering(SAXS),itsuggestedthatthemicro-voidsalongthefiberaxisbecomeshorterandthetensilestrengthaswellasinitialmodulusdecreasewhenthecellulosefiberswerewettedbywaterwhiletheradiusofmicro-voidsincreaseslightly.
